A New Spin on Fantasy and Sports!
Monkey Knife Fight is among the latest sports betting ventures to appear online. It is a hybrid of sorts that has sprung up in the wake of U.S. court decisions concerning daily fantasy sports. This company is California-based, is governed by California and U.S. federal laws and currently only caters to North Americans. Be sure to check if they currently accept members from your state or province.
Monkey Knife Fight is Daily Player Props
The focus at Monkey Knife Fight is daily player props. You may, for instance, wager over/under on a particular baseball player achieving 1.5 hits plus walks. You may also wager which player in a head-to-head matchup will achieve more total bases that day.
We are talking baseball because that is currently the hot betting sport at the time of this review, but the website offers dozens of these categories for a broad range of sports. Like a DFS site, you can wager against other bettors at large or limit your bets to friends, but you can also bet against the house, which is the new wrinkle that sites like this one add.
You must be at least 18 years of age. The following states are legal jurisdictions to play at Monkey Knife Fight:
AK, AR, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, IL, KS, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, NE, NH, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, RI, SC, SD, TX, UT, WV, WI, WY
Welcome Promo Code — 100% Match Up to $50
Anyone considering taking Monkey Knife Fight out for a test-drive can do so with a little extra cha-ching in their bankroll. You must claim this promotion on the first deposit you ever make at the site. If you have not yet created an account, sign up and then validate that account.
Making a Deposit and Enter Promo Code BALLERS
You are now ready to make a deposit. The standard minimum deposit at Monkey Knife Fight is just $10, and that is all that this promotion requires. During the deposit process, below the area where you enter the amount you want to deposit, there is a textbox labeled Promo Code. Enter the coupon code BALLERS. Double-check your payment method and amount. Then, click the Deposit button to proceed.
Once your deposit has cleared, Monkey Knife Fight will match it up to $50. So, if you deposit the minimum $10, you will get an extra $10 and have a $20 bankroll with which to wager. You will need to deposit $50 in order to claim the full bonus available to you. Note that while Monkey Knife Fight allows deposits up to $1,000, you will not receive any additional bonus for depositing more than $50.
Bonuses and Playing Requirements
Monkey Knife Fight is still a relatively new gambling website. While the BALLERS welcome promotion is the only bonus available at the time of this review, the company plans a robust promotional calendar for established and new members alike. Let us take a look at the terms and conditions that govern promotions and bonus monies, but be mindful that new promos may have their own unique rules.
You may only have one Monkey Knife Fight account ever. If the company discovers otherwise, all bonuses will be voided, your accounts will be closed and any real monies return to you. Accounts will also be closed and all bonus monies voided if there is no activity on an account for a period of 12 months.
Welcome Bonus Terms
Monkey Knife Fight refers to bonus money as promotional funds. All promotional funds claimed by you must be used within three months or be voided. Promotional funds do not have a cash value. Promotional funds are not transferable. Promotional funds cannot be cashed out.
So, what does this mean for the player who claims the $50 welcome bonus? Well, the good news is that you have three months to use it, and the house has no real wagering requirement beyond you having to play through that bonus money at least once.
The fact that the bonus is not cashable comes into play if you come out ahead. Since it is non-cashable, you must either zero out your account or pay the bonus back at the time of withdrawal. If you have $125 in winnings, for instance, the house would claim $50 and allow you to withdraw $75.
Monkey Knife Fight does mention rewards for member loyalty within its Terms of Service. The program was not yet up at the time of this writing but something we look forward to reviewing in the future.

Monkey Knife Fight Review
Monkey Knife Fight is a website-based player prop gaming service. There is no app or desktop client to download or install and keep updated. You simply connect to the site with your preferred device and web browser, and everything technical-wise takes place behind the scenes. User preferences are preserved on a per-device and per-account basis depending on which is more appropriate for that setting.
Mobile users are welcome at Monkey Knife Fight. The company has an impressive mobile-optimized website that is automatically fed to you when you connect to the service. The site is still a work in progress, but we found it to work well even on Android phones that are several years old.
Monkey Knife Fight is expected to expand its market coverage in the months ahead. It currently features the four major North American leagues: NFL, MLB, NHL and NBA. It provides player props for the PGA, LPGA and WNBA as well. Soccer bets are available for MLS as well as major leagues around the world. Monkey Knife Fight has also introduced eSports. Currently, only League of Legends bets are available, but the service is expected to expand to other major eSports as well. It is unclear at this time whether the company plans to add betting on major collegiate matchups.
The most common bet type at Monkey Knife Fight is over/under on a particular statistical category, such as whether Lebron will net 27 points on a particular night. The head-to-head bets—called Rapid Fire—are a form of over/under in which you determine which player will perform better. There are also parlays—one type is called Stat Shootout—that combine two or more over/under bets and pay out bigger in the process. Player-created scenarios are not available yet but expected to come in the near future, and you can imagine that the various player prop bets available at Monkey Knife Fight will evolve based on player demand as the services becomes more successful.
Deposit and Withdrawal Methods
Monkey Knife Fight currently has limited options when it comes to deposit and withdrawal methods, which is probably the biggest knock against it. While these are options are expected to expand, you can only deposit via Visa or MasterCard credit cards and debit cards.
For withdrawals, your first payouts are paid back to the original payment method you used when making a deposit.
If you are in the black and are cashing out profits, then you can request a check by mail, or you can request an eCheck. An eCheck can be accepted via a traditional bank account but also through online payment services like PayPal.
The customer support team at Monkey Knife Fight is available around the clock and year-round. Perhaps the easiest way to contact them is live chat, which is available directly through the website. You can also email them at email@example.com. Support is also reachable through Twitter as well as Facebook and Instagram.

Monkey Knife Fight is surprisingly fun and simple to play - but you have to know your stuff if you want to win. I only bet on players and props that I've already studied for DFS. So MKF can work well alongside your DK or FD research to make smart player prop plays. It's not easy and you should only play the props where you have some insights and knowledge. But once you do that and get your first win, it's a lot of fun!
I like this site compared to the shady offshore sportsbooks where you can never get your money back. MKF pays you back to your credit card up to the original deposit amount, but if you win more, then you can get a US bank check or an echeck. With those offshore sportsbooks, you have to wait months for a check (that will probably bounce by the time you get it) or deal with bitcoin or some other crap. MKF is based in the USA so depositing/withdrawing is no problem! And it's a lot of fun!
